CONSENT ORDERS
Consent Orders are legally enforceable agreements between de facto partners or spouses who can agree on matters such as:
- parenting arrangements;
- property division;
- superannuation; and
- spousal maintenance.
Consent Orders are made and signed off by a court, and formalise a written agreement into the form of court orders, and the court gives their approval for the orders to be made. They can be enforced in the same way that any other court order can be enforced.
